I have heard of the many beautiful places to vist in Hungary. I am supposed to accompany a relative for his heart treatment abroad. Is Hungary a good choice for treatment of heart problems and are there good hospitals? My interest other than care for my relative is tourism, but I need more information about the medical facilities available.

I am trying to make a list of choices for my relative, so thanks for the info. Any suggestions as to good hospitals would also be helpful in making a decision.

Can we hire a car and drive ourselves when in HUngary. What is the requirement? I am a US citizen.
