I had a serious wound on my leg from an accident – even though the wound is cured I still limp a little while walking …. It happened 4 years back …. But nowadays I find that whenever I am tense or strained – the place of my wound starts hurting….
Why is this …. When I examine the place – there is nothing noticeable … but the pain comes from inside …. Other times there is no pain at all. The doc I consulted says there is absolutely no problem. But then why is this happening ?

Hey my brother has the same problem, he was knocked down by a car and had terrible injuries to his legs. He has since recovered, but complains of pain now and then. The doctors have said after examination that the wounds have healed properly. It may be that when tense your senses are heightened and you notice even the slightest pain. This is just an opinion of a lay man, I am no doctor!

Have you done exray of legs? It is very difficult to pinpoint something without any lead evidence.

I agree with jinks reply. May be your mind is acting smartly and it signals pain.

Thats a nice link you have given...but i wonder if there is a medical problem, how does Psychological Cleansing helps it...like meditation, prayer etc..

One of the Physical Cleansing of treating old wound is sexercise...heheh....i wonder how he will do sex if his legs are injured :)

Sorry boss...though that link have some nice suggestions but these all remain as suggestion till real problem get diagonsed.
