Turkey is new to me as a destination for Medical Tourism. Are the medical services there as good as, in other medical tourism centers like India? How would the hospitals there compare to West European hospitals?

Yes the hospitals here are good and well reputed. Although the medical tourism industry here is still in its budding stages - there are a few procedures like cardiac surgeries and treatment related to Eyes, ears, nose and throat that are good. The costs are comparable to that of India or any other Asian countries that offer medical tourism packages.

Thats good to know, it should be cheaper to travel, since it is closer to Europe. Maybe travel by train, if it is still possible?

I dont think travelling by train to turkey is possible from europe.

By the way do you know as compared to phils, how expensive is turkey for dental treatment?

I am sure even though turkey is a medical tourism destination, it is not the cheapest option.

well cheap depends on what you expect!!! I guess prices are quite low in turkey...for example tooth bleaching costs between 500 and 1000 USD...and full ceramic crowns vary from 200 euro to 500 euro...if you expect hollywood smile the prices are really good
