Hi,
My mother is suffering from disc prolapse and the docs have adviced surgery. But we would like to go in for other options that would provide her relief preferably in Thailand or India. Do these countries support medical tourism and what would be the cost incurred

Hello,

Ayurveda is an alternative treatment available in India, which uses herbs, oils, massage etc. to manage such problems. This would be the best alternative to surgery. The cost would probably be around 10% to 20% of the cost of surgery in the US. India also offers the best in Medical Tourism.

there are numerous centres in India offering ayurvedic treatment for disc prolapse. the treatment includes massages called panchkarma with medicated oils, other natural herbs etc. and oral medicines.

Kerala state especially offers numerous such centres.

Hi,

I am suffering from this condition, and looking for the most effective treatment, including the alternative treatments mentioned here. One complication is that I also have a pinched nerve, (or that is what the doctor says), causing numbness and other problems in my left leg. Can this also be treated with alternative treatment using massages etc, without going in for surgery?
