This is a work related disorder resulting from the overuse of any tool. It could be a guitar, computer a knife and the like. This results due to overuse of muscles that are used for that tool or equipment. Stretching and exercises help to overcome this disorder.

Hi,
RSI can be diagnosed by scanning or on X-ray depending on the effected part. The chances of getting RSI can be diagnosed in advance by keeping a close watch on your daily activities – If there is any undue strain to any part of the body due to your daily activities like elbows, wrist etc. at first a persistent pain or ache occurs – This is the time to watch out and go in for some physiotherapy and rest to counter the damage caused by strain.

Hey my wife works on a computer all day, and recently she has be complaining of pain in her elbows. Normally the elbows have nothing to do with her work, I could understand if it were the wrist or fingers. But reading these posts, could it be due to her working on the computer? How do we know?
