I am 16 years of age and underwent a major surgery in my right leg due to a major accident. I don’t have one side bone in my right ankle and I feel very bad. I don’t have any problem in walking even though my right leg is shorter than my left leg. But my height was stopped due to this injury and now I am only 5 feet. Is it possible to increase my height by doing any surgery on my right leg, if it is so please help where can I undergo the treatment?

From what you say, you only want to increase the length of your right leg. Surgery can help, but before going for surgery, you could try out adjustible shoes, which can adjust small differences, so that both feet will be level. Then nothing will show in your gait while walking.

Hi Gough, I tried with so many adjustable shoes but there was no use, because I felt uncomfortable while walking. Due to the cost, I would like to undergo surgery in Asian countries either in Singapore or India. If it is possible can you suggest a good hospital?

I have consulted one doctor and he says it is all hogwash..Height can never be increased..They just charge money for no results...

Can any one tell me more about this?
