Everytime I have intercourse, I bleed about 3 or 4 drops of blood. Can someone tell me why and if it's dangerous.

It could be a minor health problem. Cervical infections can cause bleeding triggered by sex, so it will be better if you contact a doctor about it and get the required tests done.

Are infections the only cause of bleeding. I have heard some drugs are also involved. Can somebody tell me some of the drugs that may lead to cervical bleeding?

Cervical bleeding, is symptomatic of more severe forms of cervical dysplasia such as HPV lesions. Abnormal condition occurring after intercourse, between periods, after menopause. Inserting a tampon into the vagina will confirm the source.

The common cases of this disorder are: injury or disease from infection, dry vaginal walls after menopause, after abortion, fluctuation in hormone level, stopping and starting birth control pills, some kinds of drugs. Cervical bleeding, is symptomatic of more severe forms of cervical dysplasia such as HPV lesions.

If the problem is serious, bed rest is recommended, aspirin should be avoided. The cause of the disease and the methods of treating can be determined through various tests: for sexually transmitted diseases, Pap smear, endometrial biopsy, and pelvic ultrasound.
