hi. i have always wondered if the joints has something to do with arthritis. can anybody explain this to me please? i am planning to go on a trip and i want to know if i have the symptoms for arthritis so instead of just seeing a place around i might as well go on a medical travel. any ideas?

Yes arthritis is related to joints and bones. It causes mainly due to aging
of bones and also in case of obese individuals due to more weight the bones
get over used. Sometimes due to the imbalance of gas etc also causes
arthritis at younger age. In many cases arthritis causes due to constant
sitting in one position in few specific professions.
In Arthritis the joints pain so much that a person cannot stand for few
second and find climbing staircases impossible. In some cases patients
also find difficult to sit down on ground by getting overlapped each other.
In severe cases sitting and standing also becomes difficult for patients.
if your traveling to India you can get alternative treatments like Ayurvedic
or Homeopathic which can cure this disease without side effects.

I have seen from some posts that arthritis has no known cure. Is there any way of preventing it? I have several older relatives with varying degrees of arthritis, and I am afraid of getting itas it runs in the family. Some suggestions for prevention or delay in onset would be helpful.

Ayurvedic treatment for arthritis is indeed a good option. There are many centers in Kerala that offer this treatment - a word of advice - if it runs in the family - i suggest an early intervention and cure would do a lot of good.
