Hi my father-in-law has been diagnosed with a missing heart beat - he is 77 years old - but the doctor have said that there is no need to go in for any treatment - do i get worried?

At the age of 77, you might expect to miss a heartbeat, and this should not worry you if there is no other complications. Since the doctor says it is not a problem, you should not worry, but do get check ups done regularly, as the age is quite advanced.
