I have been diagonsed with type 1 diabetes and my doctor days it is linked to my thin bones...is it true?

Whats the relationship between type 1 diabetes and thin bones....i mean how one affects another??

Yes type 1 diabetes is also linked to thin bones. With the density of the bones becoming lower there is a risk of diabetes type 1. This results in the early onset of osteoporosis.

Hey, this is something I never knew. i was just searching for information about osteoporosis and diabetes and came across this. So loss of bone mass means diabetes must also be tested for, as it may be the cause.
