I am a 22 year old male and my voice is somewhat high pitched and it is embarrassing at times. Is there a surgery to correct this. I am looking for an inexpensive surgery and don't mind traveling to Asian countries if it could be cost effective.

Have you checked about hormone (testosterone) treatment with your doctor? This is usually enough to make your voice more manly.

Did think of that - but I really am not quite sure about taking up hormone therapy - I have heard that it may have adverse effects.
