Hi, I have been reading about these so called treatments on the net, and some posts in this forum too. The FDA and busybodies are often very quick to debunk quack treatments. Why has this treatment been going on for years, and yet we have no firm declaration from the official authorities saying either the treatments are effective as claimed or not? Don't they have an obligation to check into such medical claims?

Well they are researching more about EECP and chelation and till research does not suggest the effectiveness of the treatment, the medical bodies will not publish their positive results.
Remember medical science is not perfect and medical bodies and institutions has to research from every angle.

Well, I should think that the Medical Journals should atleast publish what has been found till now, that the benefits of these treatments are doubtful? These treatments are trumpeted as the answer to all heart problems with testimonials etc. It would be simple enough for an official agency to check if these claims are real or a scam.
