Cosmetic surgery to change the color of iris 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0  
I am myopic - and began using contact lenses - i had experimented with many colors - but i feel blue suits me fine - what I have begun to dislike is the discomfort of using contact lenses - is there a way that I can change the color of my iris - does cosmetic surgery offer any solution for this?

Hi,
Yes you can change the color of your iris – Here is the link of the place that does this procedure. http://www.newcoloriris.com/
But mind you, this procedure is relatively new- so please do enquiries before u really go for a change.
If possible try and contact someone who has got the similar procedure done from this facility.

thank you. also thank you for cautioning me. the thing is i have been trying to get in touch with a person who has it done - but it has not possible for me - i was hoping that in this forum i could perhaps get to know somebody who has had it done before - no luck here to.

Yes, this procedure is something new and should be aware of the outcome. You may want to check many testimonials before having this procedure.

Intraocular implants are nothing new, but the coloured replacement is. Being myopic, you would also need to implant a lens as done for cataract patients. You must check if the procedure to change the colour will also correct your vision. Otherwise you would still have to use contact lenses for vision.
