I am not sure about blood pressure, but it could cause gastro intestinal bleeding. Please go to this link, it will give you more information about side effects of arthritis drugs.

No way. It can cause nervousness because it is heavy dosage drug. But once your body gets used to it, it works fine. In case if after taking arthirits pain medicine, it is causing you high BP, then thats the reaction the body is having towards medicine and you should stop the medicine and consult the doctor who will change the medicine.
