Well, i am from paris and i thought singapore being a asian country will offer me some cheap medical treatment as compared to paris which is quite expensive.

To my surprise, i am getting same rates for medicak treatment in paris and singapore after adding flight and visa cost to singapore for my dental treatment.

Is singapore really a medical tourism country?

Yes dear you must take into consideration the aspect of travel and accommodation and not merely the cost of surgical procedures! For a dental procedure it is wiser that you don't travel all the way to Singapore. Medical Tourism is worthwhile and cost effective for major surgical procedures and not for minor cosmetic surgery procedures.

Even minor procedures can be cost effective if you combine it with a holiday or business trip. I agree traveling all the way for one minor procedure alone is not economic.

Dear paris 250,
You can also think of other asian countries which can provide the low cost quality treatment for you. You can research about medical treatment in India. You can definetly plan for a holiday during your summer break and can enjoy holidays as well as get your treatment done at some exotic location in India.
