Well yes. This country is not among the top ten vegetarian friendly countries in the world.
According to gogreentravelgreen.com/green-restaurant-...ian-or-vegan-travel/
These are those ten countries:
* Canada
* Hong Kong
* India
* Malaysia
* Singapore
* Taiwan
* Thailand
* United Kingdom
* United States
* Vietnam

One certainly might find it a challenge to find restaurants catering to vegetarians in the Philippines.

If you are a vegetarian you can find vegetarian dishes, but maybe not an exclusively vegetarian restaurant. So if you are looking just to avoid eating non veg food, it is possible depending on where you stay. Fish, pork, poultry, etc are more commonly found. But the whole essence of tourism is to experience the country you visit, so experience the food too, and forget about the veggies for a while.

Thats not right..there are plenty of veg dishes..lot of restaurants serve both veg and non veg food...phils population is primarliy a non veg population but that does not mean they dont eat veg.

You can get plenty of taiwanese and chinese veg food...like veg soups, veg momos, veg noodles..
