Hungry at night 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago	Karma: 0
Hi, My meal at night is usually salad and some fruits. Recently I started feeling hungry late at night and often wake up. I am not sick, or taking any medications, so why the change? Anyone with the same problem? Any solutions?

Yes that is because there is not much of carbohydrate content in that meal. The best solution would be to take a fibre rich meal at night so that you don't feel hungry and also to include less fattening carbohydrate content in your meal.

Fiber rich food at night - I can think of oatmeal porridge, any other suggestions? My brain seems to be addled today.

Well the simple reason is calorie in vs calorie out. I dont know whats your profession but you are expending more calories and taking less calories, so thats you feel hungry at night and your body gives you signal that it needs energy to carry out its basic funtions. You should increase your calories by adding more variety in your dinner. Your food choice is good.
