Travel Requirements

Different countries around the world have different visa requirements, vaccination regulations, and travel advisories.  Before purchasing your ticket, make sure you understand the different steps and preparations necessary for whatever country you plan to visit.  Are you leaving yourself enough time for any vaccinations to begin kicking in?  Will your passport be valid for more than 6 months after the date of your arrival?  Does your government have anything negative to say about the destination you're about to visit?

Prepare for the Long-term

Although there are many medical tourists who travel abroad and return to their home country in a matter of days, some procedures require longer stays abroad.  You don't want your inoculations or visa to expire while you're recuperating in a hospital or relaxing on the beach.  Believe us when we tell you that this will quickly sour your overall experience rather quickly.  If your inoculations run out, you could become vulnerable to any number of easily preventable medical complications.  Equally chilling, if your visa runs out, you could be subject to whatever illegal immigration laws exist.  And sadly, your government can do little to help in either situation.  Have all of your shots and paperwork in order before boarding the plane.
