Seasons
The spring season begins in March and continues through May. Temperatures can range from freezing to 20 degrees C (68 degrees F) . Summer follows soon after, with July seeing some of the highest temperatures. Summer in Poland is typically warm, and temperatures can range from 21 to 32 degree centigrade (70-90 F). This is usually seen as the most pleasant month to visit the country. However, rainfall can occasionally intrude on the bountiful sunshine. September tends to be warm in the beginning and marks the start of the autumn season. This is also known as the “Golden Polish Summer”, a period of exceptional weather when it’s sunny and warm, but there is no rain to play spoilsport. The days continue to become colder until January & February, which is the height of the winter season. Temperatures can drop below -20 degree centigrade (-4 F). This season lasts right through March, and the amount of snowfall depends on where in Poland you are visiting on your medical tourism trip.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Poland is between May and September. May is when the lilacs begin to bloom, and the evenings are filled with the heady scent of the stunning flowers. Summer tends to be official tourist season in this medical tourism destination, so you may find the major urban centers like Krakow and Warsaw a bit crowded. September sees comparatively fewer tourists, so accommodation prices can be lower.
