Affordable Infertility Treatments: Available in India
The frustration of being unable to conceive is often compounded by the cost of fertility treatments. Overview
Back during the Socialist era, the dining scene in Warsaw was hardly anything to write home about. Most dining establishments were run by the state with the result that Polish food, which already had a reputation for unimaginativeness, seemed even worse. Things have changed dramatically since the end of Communism. Not only is the local cuisine getting a makeover as it begins to draw on culinary influences from across Europe, but the presence of fine dining establishments, serving up every international flavor you can imagine, has given Warsaw a reputation as an emerging gastronomical mecca. Several of the restaurants in this medical tourism hub feature prominently in continental magazine reviews.
Local Flavors
Contrary to all the bad press that the country’s food gets, Polish cuisine is more than just meat and cabbages. The base of the cuisine continues to be the filling, wholesome food that foreigners tend to condescendingly call “peasant grub.” But the arrival of hordes of international holidaymakers, business travelers and medical tourism vacationers has forced the country’s chefs to inject basic dishes, like bigos, with a slightly more delicately flavored tang.
Global Flavors
The city’s culinary scene throws up an assortment of cuisines from all over the world for the medical tourism visitor, including Continental, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, and more. The Mediterranean cooking scene is particularly vibrant, because of the presence of a thriving community of Italians here. Japanese cuisine is also hugely popular, as evidenced by the many sushi bars located around town.
Restaurant Districts
The best establishments tend to be clustered in the city center, and food prices here generally include taxes. A 10% to 15% tip is the norm. Few Polish restaurants insist on formal dress, with the exception of upscale establishments. Even here, snappy clothing is merely recommended, and rarely required.
