Mexico City offers the medical tourism traveler a variety of affordable accommodation options.  Even luxury properties here are much more affordably priced than you might expect.  The Polanco and Chapultepec Park areas are the main centers for luxurious accommodations in Mexico City.  The biggest advantage of setting up base here is that you’ll be close to the best museums, art galleries, and other major tourist attractions in town.   

The Zona Rosa business district also has a fine selection of luxury properties that cater to a mainly corporate clientele.  The area is home to some of Mexico City’s best entertainment and shopping venues, including fine dining restaurants, antique stores, boutiques, night clubs, and jewelers.  If you’re looking to spend a lot of time out on the town during your medical tourism holiday, this neighborhood might be ideal. 

One of the best reasons to stay in a five star property is the fleet of taxis that these hotels provide. In a city where taxi crimes are high, it makes sense for the medical tourism visitor to pay a little extra for safety and security. 

Moderately Priced Hotels

There isn’t a whole lot that differentiates a five star hotel in Mexico City from a four star property.  The difference is in the little luxurious details, but otherwise, you’ll find the city’s four-star hotels offer personalized attention, comfortable rooms, and a host of amenities, like air conditioning and room service.  Two and three star hotels are lower on lavish details, but you’ll still find large, clean, and airy rooms.
