With Understanding Comes Affordable Health Care

Understanding Lends a Boost to Medical Tourism

During the two day Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit, numerous memoranda of understanding were signed ensuring a boost for the medical tourism industry in Gandhinagar. The MoUs included agreements to offer affordable health care options by planning to set up a health care hub near Ahmedabad where medical colleges, nursing colleges, physical medicine colleges, and rehabilitation training can take place.  This move will ensure that quality health care is of good value and readily available for those who travel to Delhi for medical procedures

The MoUs call for more training and hospital facilities to be constructed across the State, and this will ensure that those seeking affordable health care have a well trained, well equipped, and modern medical choice outside of the US, for a fraction of the cost.

Good Health Comes From Good Value Travel

Next to this medical college, a 600-bed hospital will also be constructed to offer affordable health care for the numerous overseas patients. Over 3,000 medical and paramedical personnel will gain employment when these new health care facilities are completed, attracting more overseas patients seeking health care for good value during their travel to India.

Affordable Health Care Is Available To Everyone

Better training and more skilled doctors, nurses, and medical personnel will ensure that the medical tourism industry continues to thrive. The recent MoUs also made way for a hospital/medical college to be built at Harani village near Vadodara. This medical and nursing college will in turn generate around 4,000 jobs and add to the skills and experience of the Indian medical industry, allowing the country to go on attracting medical tourism patients from the US seeking affordable health care.
