According to a recent survey by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), over 1 million plastic surgery procedures were preformed on males in the United States in 2006, accounting for 8 percent of total procedures preformed. As more men feel comfortable going under the knife to alter their appearances, the numbers of patients choosing medical tourism to lower the cost of everything from penis enlargement surgery to a prostatectomy are rising.
