Plastic surgery costs are heavily discounted. All kinds of procedures can be arranged: knee replacement in Thailand, angioplasty in India, and affordable laser hair removal in Costa Rica. Tate Wolf just returned from Costa Rica after receiving dental implants, which would have cost $26,000 in the U.S., for an unbeatable $7,000. Tate believed the healthcare was comparable to the United States. The question is though, can it really be called a vacation when you spend hours under the surgeon’s knife or in a dentist’s chair? Some people close to Phyllis question her reasoning, but she feels it’s worth a try; understanding that experts warn patients to plan for unforeseen circumstances.
