Shoulder tendon repair surgery (also known as rotator cuff Surgery or shoulder surgery) is required for the repair of tears or inflammatory conditions of the rotator cuff tendons of the shoulder.  The surgery is most often employed when the patient’s shoulder has not responded favorably to more conservative measures (like medication). In many ways, the world is becoming much safer for female travelers.  According to Women Travel Tips, the number of women-only tour operators has increased 230% in the past six years.  And 70% of all travel decisions are made by women.  But even with these significant advances, we still felt it necessary to create a travel safety section specifically designed for female medical tourists.  All vacationers potentially face certain risks.  But because female travelers are "perceived" as more vulnerable, they often become...more vulnerable.  The easiest way around this is to travel with a partner (male or female).

Why You Should Never Travel Alone

Our general attitude about medical tourism vacations is that it’s always better to take a friend or family member with you, regardless of your age, sex, build, financial status, or experience.  Not only will doing so make your medical tourism vacation safer, but having someone along is also incredibly convenient when going under the knife for surgery or treatment.  Your companion can fill out paperwork, handle finances, raise concerns, and talk with doctors…even when you are incapacitated.

However, we recognize that group travel is not always financially viable for some medical tourists, so this section is dedicated to loans female travelers who want to enjoy safe and successful medical tourism vacations.

As you read some of following Safety Tips, you’ll begin to see a general pattern.  Because would-be attackers tend to favor “easy targets,” your goal as a traveler is to make their jobs as difficult and unattractive as possible.  The more obstacles an attacker must face in order to get your purse (or worse), the less likely he or she is to try.
