Plan Your Medical Tourism Itinerary

Once you have your visa paperwork, inoculations, appointments, and plane tickets all in order, it's time to start planning the fun part of your vacation.  We have provided some general itineraries throughout Healism.com, but there are countless other resources available online or at your local bookstore.  Some of our favorite travel guides include:

However...

It's always best to consult with your physician before planning your itinerary.  He or she might not want you to go snorkeling for a few days or weeks.  Or perhaps you might need to restrict your diet.  Or maybe you'll need follow up treatments that require you stay close to the hospital and away from scenic countryside.  Whatever the case, make sure you have your doctor's or dentist's permission before locking in any activities.  And also, understand that all itineraries are subject to change.
