Notwithstanding its reputation as a staid, conservative city, Singapore turns into a night crawler’s paradise after sundown, buzzing with non stop activity.  Bars and clubs are jam packed (especially on weekends), and the best ones tend to be notoriously exclusive. Even still, medical tourism vacationers will have plenty of choices to keep them entertained after hours, and they can look forward to rubbing shoulders with plenty of locals as they party in style.

Nightspots in Singapore

Though medical tourism visitors will have no trouble locating a bar or club that meets their budget or taste, check out the options available in what is known as the golden triangle of nightspots.  The Zouk - Mohammed Sultan - Boat Quay area is filled with entertainment choices for an interesting evening out.  All three areas are a short distance away from each other, and you can easily do a quick round up of the entire party zone by taxi.  On weekends, however, it’s nearly impossible to find a cab to get around from one watering hole to the next, so medical tourism visitors should consider hiring a cab for the entire evening.  Drinks can be on the expensive side in Singapore.  However, happy hours are a weekly feature at many bars and pubs, so try to catch these.  

Many clubs have ladies nights on a specific day of the week, and they typically arrange for special music or themed parties on other evenings.  Restaurants, cafes, and food courts also stay open till late in the night to cater to the club-hopping crowd.   

Night-Shopping in Singapore

Singapore is one of the few cities in the world where shopping is included in night-time entertainment itineraries.  Most malls stay open till late into the night with some even remaining open 24/7.  So if the bouncer keeps you out of the club, just pull out your credit card and do some rave-like night shopping instead.
