Turkey Becoming Synonymous with Saving Money

Overview
Kuala Lumpur is one of those cities that you can visit all year round – the weather is reliably consistent with warm days, pleasant evenings, and occasional rain showers in the afternoon. The city is located in the western region of the country, protected by the Titiwangsa Mountains on one side and the Island of Sumatra on the other. This gives it an equatorial climate that is characterized by humidity and plenty of rainfall. Although temperatures can range from 30 degrees C (86 F) to 34 degrees C (93 F) in the daytime, they drop after a shower.Â
Monsoon season begins around September and continues through April, with October to January seeing some of the heaviest rain. By contrast, May, June, and July tend to be the driest months, although you can still expect at least 25 ml of rain (less than an inch). Â
Best Time to Visit
As the country’s largest city and premier medical tourism center, Kuala Lumpur is the most popular destination for vacationers. Festivals, shopping expos, business conferences, and cultural holidays seem to happy all year round, so whenever you decide to visit, there will be something special going on somewhere in the city. This is especially true during summer break when Singapore families and vacationers from the Middle East flock to the city in large numbers. If festivals are more your speed, plan your medical vacation between October and January. This is when the country celebrates the bulk of its religious and cultural holidays.Â
If you would like some calm and quiet during your medical tourism vacation, choose the period that falls around a public holiday. Most KL residents set off for the hill stations and beach resorts, leaving the city less frenzied. Malaysia’s famous shopping festival arrives at varying times during the year, and can offer terrific bargains on your medical tourism holiday.
